Mazda Rising Legends Campaign
Madison Matthews

This year, Mazda Canada is continuing its work giving back to Canadian communities. Mazda Canada is providing each qualifying Retailer $2,500 in funds to contribute monetarily to member(s) of their local community who go above and beyond in serving their communities. West Coast Mazda had the opportunity to present a cheque to Madison Matthews for $1,250 through this initiative.

Madison exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and dedication to making a difference. She has volunteered extensively with the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services throughout the summer of 2023 and into 2024. Madi has used her skills in education in graphic design to support a variety of crucial programs, creating professional materials that helped addressed a wide range of community needs. She has created design materials for programs such as Ridge Meadows Foundry, Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, the Child Care Resource and Referral program, Daddy and Me, Restorative Justice and our Seniors Department.

Her work was instrumental in supporting services for vulnerable populations. She approached every task with professionalism, compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others. The designs she created were not only visually stunning, but they also communicated critical message that supported the individuals and families who rely on our services.

Beyond her work with MRPMCS, Madi has also volunteered with organizations such as the Katie’s Place, Maple Ridge Home Show, Rainbow Club and participated in Truth and Reconciliation Day events, further demonstrating her deep commitment to community and social causes.

Thank you for all the work you do within our community, Madison.
